Quick Whole Body Workout for Busy Parents

Newsletter Story Image (14)

I’m a big believer that people can make time for exercise if they prioritize it, even when they’re busy. But leave it to parenthood to turn everything upside down! Becoming a mom in the last year has made prioritizing exercise exponentially harder. So parents, or otherwise really busy people– I see you! This one’s for you!

Here are a few workout ideas you can do at home with minimal equipment and maximal efficiency. If you can get just a couple of these in during a nap or downtime, you’ve done a quick “whole body” workout. Research shows that even a short workout has physical, mental, and mood benefits.

No equipment:

  • Up-down plank
  • Side plank leg raises
  • Single leg bridge + pulses

Dumbells:

  • Squat to overhead press

We know your to-do list is huge but do yourself and those you love a favor and don’t forget to invest in yourself. You only get one body, it’s important to take the time to take care of it.
