“Sheridan is a fantastic team player. She proactively seeks out professional growth opportunities and is never hesitant to take on a new challenge. Her ability to connect with patients and manage the fast-growing clinic in Deerfield has been exciting and fun to watch.” Kaitlin Iversen, PT, DPT – React Physical Therapy Director of Operations

How many years have you been at React PT?

I have been working here at the Deerfield React PT since June 2021.

What is your favorite part of working at React PT?

My favorite part of working at React PT is connecting with the patients, new and veteran, and ensuring they are all on the path to recovery and having fun while doing so! I also enjoy my co-workers and always look forward to coming in and seeing their smiling faces!

What is the most common advice you give your patients or what do you wish all of your patients knew/did?

The most common advice I give our patients is to be patient with progress. It will not come overnight, but with consistency, motivation,  and determination to return to sports or ADL’s, time is our best friend. While it is challenging, physical therapy is one of the best things we can do to facilitate healthy body movement!

Professional accomplishments:

I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Exercise Sciences with a concentration in Physical Therapy from Truman State University located in Kirksville, MO.

What would you be if you weren’t in your current career?

If I wasn’t working with React PT, I would probably be pursuing a career in teaching. Preferably early education or pre-school/kindergarten.

Guilty pleasure:

My ultimate guilty pleasure is cuddling up on the couch and binge-watching Schitt’s Creek for the 100th time!
